Lantern is proud to have welcomed Dr. Richard Dudley Jr. to be our guest speaker at this month’s All-Staff Meeting at Amber Hall. Dr. Dudley is a nationally known expert in the fields of psychiatry and criminal justice, and has spoken in numerous forums about the impact of traumatization, particularly on young men of color. Dr. Dudley presented recent research on the impact of trauma, and gave advice on how best to provide trauma-informed social services. The presentation concluded with a productive and engaging discussion between Dr. Dudley and our team.

Lantern is also excited to announce our first annual Employee Recognition Awards in honor of the outstanding work our staff are doing every day.

  • Justin Bluto, Case Manager at Cedars Hall, was awarded the Tamika Williams Client Advocacy Award.
  • Valerine Angueira, Leasing & Compliance Administrative Associate at Clover Hall and Hunterfly Trace, earned the Lantern Spirit Award.
  • Cruz Rodriguez, Program Director of Huntersmoon Hall, won the Leadership Award.
