From November 19th to November 25th, Lantern Community Services was pleased to be able to provide Thanksgiving meals to more than 700 of our individual, young adult, and family clients. The meals included turkey, a broad assortment of side dishes, hot apple cider, and dessert.
This marks the fifteenth year in a row that Lantern has been able to provide Thanksgiving meals to New Yorkers who are impacted by or threatened with homelessness. These festivities precede Lantern’s upcoming holiday events in December.
