Lantern is delighted to announce that the Board of Directors┬áhas appointed Eric Rosenbaum as Chief Executive Officer of Lantern Community Services, effective April 17th, 2017. Eric has also been appointed Chief Executive Officer of our affiliate, the Lantern Organization, by its Board of Directors. Lantern Organization developed the buildings our residents live in, and has grown over the span of 20 years to become one of New York City’s largest providers of permanent supportive housing, developing around 1,500 units across 15 buildings.

Eric Rosenbaum is well known to many in the supportive housing field as a highly effective leader. He joins Lantern from Women In Need (WIN), where his leadership on business and development as Chief Operating Officer enabled the organization to increase the number of families served and improve the quality of programs.

Leslie Abbey will remain Interim Executive Director of Lantern Community Services until April 17th, and we thank her for her continued service through this period. The Board of Directors and Executive Team are looking forward to supporting Eric in making a successful leadership transition.
