Overview:

Amber Hall provides 85 units of permanent supportive housing in the East Morrisania neighborhood of the Bronx. All units are studio apartments that are set aside for low-income individuals as well as homeless single adults living with special needs. A unit is reserved for the building’s live-in superintendent, who is available 24/7 to respond to emergencies.

Services:

Lantern Community Services delivers on-site supportive service programming to all Amber Hall tenants. On-site program offices offer space for staff to conduct individual and group meetings, life skills counseling, recreational activities and provide referral support to other health service providers. Supportive services at Amber Hall provide tenants with a variety of opportunities for personal development. Staff and tenants work together to establish individual goal-centered service plans. Partnerships have been developed to provide tenants with additional support.
