Overview:
Rustin House (fka St. Louis Hall) is an extensive rehabilitation and conversion of a 149 unit commercial SRO building into 123 SRO units of affordable housing, each enlarged and equipped with kitchenettes.
Services:
Lantern Community Services, Inc. offers on-site supportive service programming to all Rustin House tenants. Program offices offer space for staff to conduct individual and group meetings, life skills counseling, nutritional education and employment development, as well as referral support. Supportive services at Rustin House provide tenants with a variety of opportunities for personal growth. Staff and tenants work together to establish individual goal-centered service plans. Staff works closely with the tenants to ensure they achieve their program goals such as obtaining stable employment and participating in activities designed to promote healthy lifestyles.
