
Alicia Sweeney oversees three Lantern sites, one in Brooklyn and two in Manhattan.
Alicia is a dedicated licensed social worker with experience working with a variety of client populations, including persons living with HIV/AIDS, individuals with mental health diagnoses, as well as, alcohol and substance abuse since 2012. Prior to Joining Lantern in 2017, Alicia worked as a Program Director and Clinical Supervisor at Services for the Underserved (SUS) and as a Care Coordinator and Case Manager at Institute for Community Living (ICL).
Alicia holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Administration, as well as, a B.S. in Social Work from Long Island University. Alicia earned her M.S.W. with advanced Standing from Long Island University. Alicia also has a Certificate in Social Work Field Instruction (SIFI) from Columbia University and has provided field instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students since 2016.
