Chief Program Officer
Amy Berg, LCSW oversees programs and clinical practice throughout all of Lantern’s sites.
With more than 20 years of experience in community mental health, Amy has worked in a variety of different social service settings and locations. Prior to joining Lantern in 2015, Amy was the Director of the Park Avenue Women’s Mental Health Shelter at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. Prior to Lenox Hill, Amy served as Director of Adult Day Services at Service Program for Older People, Inc., where she managed a day treatment program, peer advocates, and a model dementia program, which she designed.
She has a B.S. from Tufts University, a M.S.W. from Hunter College School of Social Work, and a M.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy from Hunter College.
