Richard Larson has worked in social services in the New York City and Westchester area for over 30 years. He began his career at Covenant House working with runaway and unhoused teens. While there, he earned his Master in Social Work from Columbia University.

Richard has been fortunate to work with inspiring people serving emergent community needs. This includes his time at organizations serving clients living with HIV/AIDS at Bronx Works, victims of the 9/11 attacks at Catholic Charities, and youth aging out of foster care at Children’s Village.

Most recently, Richard was the Director of Quality Improvement at Abbott House and the Director for the Residential Treatment Facilities of the Jewish Board in Hawthorne.
