More than 20 years ago, Lantern helped to pioneer the development of supportive housing for people living with HIV/AIDS in New York City. Today, Lantern is one of the city’s largest providers of supportive housing for people living with HIV/AIDS, with 350 designated apartments serving this population.

In these buildings, specialized services promote access to care, HIV treatment adherence, social and emotional support, physical fitness, and other services that maximize quality of life and health among men and women living with HIV/AIDS.
